Juliana, originally from Ukraine, moved to Vancouver, BC at the tender age of 10. Before beginning her professional dance career at the age of 18, Juliana was a professional rhythmic gymnast that travelled worldwide and represented Canada. She was a two-time Canadian National Champion , silver and bronze medalist at various Pan-American Games and was part of the Olympic Development Team for Beijing 2008. After suffering a major back injury Juliana gave up her sport career and followed her life long passion of dance. After intense training in jazz, hip hop, and latin ballroom, Juliana has become one of the top working dancers in Vancouver. Some of her credits include: A Dereon Commercial with Beyonce, Smallville, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief with Uma Thurman and Pierce Brosman, The legend of the Dancing Ninja with David Hasslehoff, Sucker Punch with Venessa Hudgens, Supernatural, and Air Bud and the Seventh Inch.After being part of the sexy Candy Girl Cabaret Lounge in Vancouver , Juliana took her dancing and singing to the next level and started a recording girl group VANITY with her best friends Daniela Dib and Katherine Slack. At the moment Juliana is working hard with VANITY on their upcoming single and you will be seeing more of them this year. VANITY consists of three life time performers; KATHERINE SLACK, DANIELA DIB, & JULIANA SEMENOVA . Between the girls they have worked across the globe in all genres of dance and have made their mark everywhere they've gone. Starting from their hometown Vancouver across the country to Toronto to New York and Los Angeles, they have worked & performed with artists as Beyonce, Michael Buble, Ray J, Mario, Elephant Man, Danny Fernandez, Belly, Shawn Desman, Ashley Tisdale & Vanessa Hudgens. They have also appeared in commercials, music videos, and film & TV. Credits include Suckerpunch, Center Stage 2, Supernatural, Smallville, Alice, Hellcats, This Means War, & Percy Jackson. These ladies have joined forces to create one of Canada's premier recording girl groups. VANITY has opened for Iyaz (Sean Kingston's artist), Gudda Gudda (Young Money), Cali Swag District ("Teach me how to Dougie") & Nelly! Watch out for VANITY as they break into the music scene in 2011!
